Ejo Youth Echo has a magazine called” Nyiramubande” that is written by youth refugees and youth from the host communities from Kigeme, Mugombwa, Mahama camps and Burundian refugees youth who live at Huye urban together with Rwanda youth from Huye. The magazine is published in Kinyarwanda talking about lives in the camps and around them. Through capacity building section, Nyiramubande journalists are trained about various topics that help them in their career, and in addition to that it helps to open their minds and think critically.
Introduction to investigative journalism, writing headlines and using data in reporting are among the trainings that were focused on, in July 2019.
